names would be able to be registered as often as you want, same as on Discord. Each person would have a unique # identifier after name, so you can tell your friends apart from fakers

Yes, ideally your Steam account or an email + username + password would be used in client to register in client once. Then your client stays logged in. No need to log in in each game server

Yes, that's a big worry. But they'd be preserved under "Season 1", so you can still look them up, share them
