Been trying my hand at some vegetarian cooking and honestly I think this turned out fairly well. Roast veggie donburi, garlic rice and a hint of white miso

Honestly, pretty satisfying, though absurdly low on protein. Not quite sure how to fix that. Maybe some fried tofu or sth to add into the mix

I've recently starting cooking rice on the stove the japan way, really like how the rice kinda sticks together. I use to just drown it in water and boil it

so you add the garlic and miso while the rice is cooking i imagine?
That'd work too. This time I flavoured it after cooking with some miso butter I'd made earlier. Fried some garlic in miso butter and then added it to the rice and mixed

If I didn't have miso butter at hand. I'd fry the garlic in butter, add the rice, then the water, and the miso

Go light on the miso if you want to try it. It'll easily overwhelm every other flavour you have in there if you arent restrained with it

does it only affect the taste or structure too? tbh i thought about buying it to save on oil, and heard that KFC from it tastes better than from microwave or oven
i dont know what other places use these gas bottles that we have in spain, but they do be very cheap compared to the high costs of electric ovens and microwaves.
it defienietly cant replace oven for sweets, or pizzas, but i think it beats microwave, considering it also cooks the things aside from warming them, the only thing i worry about is it gonna make re-heating food very dry, but yeah im not buying one yet as i cant seem to find a place to put it...
I think oven is extremely energy inefficient, unless one plans to cook for long time, if i cant use microwave second best option is pan with lid for me

I don't really have a microwave either tbf. I find an oven while slow to be enough for me
u, an avid cook, do not own a microwave? people like us must own as many kitchen utensils as we can. however, knowing you are dedicated to japanese cooking, it makes me wonder if they use microwaves in their country?

This is the maximum they can draw, which they only do in the beginning until the set temperature is reached. Since it's smaller than an oven, you're wasting less heat compared to that.

I also don't have a microwave, would probably be convenient, but kitchen is so full already

For pasta I put my plate on top of the pot I boiled the pasta in. If I made anything in the oven I'll shove the plate in there too real quick. finally if none of those are available I just put my food on the sad cold plate

Yes, tried that once. But didn't taste as good because nearly no oil
I brew my coffee with a V60 most of the times, but sometimes you just want an espresso-like small coffee. I use a sad nespresso machine for that. Coffee is abysmal but it has enough caffeine either way
airfryer, rice cooker, kettle, induction stove for hot pot, table grill, noodle maker, soy milk maker. I think that's all. Actually more than I at first remembered (edited)

When I was like 9 I used to drink aggressively sweet tea. Then I all of a sudden lost all interest in it. Can't even drink tea that has like half a teaspoon of sugar in it

I have a friend that is the antithesis of this. I accidentally took a sip of this guys tea once and it tasted like straight honey

tbh the only thing i want from work myself is, to clock in at whatever hour i want and clock out in same fashion... which is impossible unless i go for programming

also situation from my previous job, they hired a company to make a website, they used one of their basic templates that doesnt even fit well, and took 5k β¬ (which is outrageous imo, for same quality people here take 400-800β¬ for a website)

I donβt even know which one you are referring to given so much bs happened in turkey

tell me why bother to work making a website, on top of my regular work (that is also rare) if noone's going to pay for that or even say thanks and any problems that come up will be on me
so money has to be spent, and it cant go to me, i would be evil if i used a friendly company that i know doesnt do websites, and said, this company will do the webiste and made it myself
Well actually. I like to draw my circuits out before putting them on computer aswell. But itβs only because Iβm not used to the software and I only do small pieces to think about before I get it down on the computer
