Okay, if I’m a gores or other mod player, playing with that name on servers with no points for a long time. And then someone just assigns me my nickname, passes the map and... Moders will be ban me for fake? (edited)

This rule only applies to ddnet servers, you're probably safe to use names that haven't been used for long periods of time, as long as they don't have a fair amount of points

Okay, what if you had "milk" nick for a long time and played with points, but then, just by chance, a player with the same nickname came along and became a popular player with a lot of points. In this case, most moders prefer to ban me for "fake" (edited)

I’m talking about this. The rule is leaky. Based on which people with privilege will abuse it. That is, if a moder just assumes that in his opinion I should be a player that he knows. Otherwise give me a ban.

It's a bug, been in the game since the very beginning, it can't be removed because some maps / mechanics require the use of either

Reverse speedfly, a hammerun-esque shotgun mechanic, a handful of maps require strong / weak in order to even be able to do the part

After some investigating of @Deleted User problem: DDNetServer: trying to register ipv4, isn't response an error. ipv6 error, cannot register on ipv6, probably ISP of VDS isn't provide ipv6. Probably, also, ipv4 isn't accepted. But, iptables -L resulting 0 rules, default rule - accept, as I checked on his host. ufw status is returned off status and isn't configured? (forgot to check configuration, but, anyway, ufw isn't active. SSH working good. For some reason trying to add iptables a rule doesn't work, or what. I'm newbie From my PC: telnet hishost:22 returns SSH telnet hishost:8303, while DDNetServer opened, returns error. So, now I'm busy, problem isn't solved, here is some notes. Only ipv6 failing is ok, ipv4 should still work
