@Axi Do you know what version you played, where this behaviour didnt occur? I have roughly the same behaviour, but opposite to you disconnecting a dummy does not split the demo.

i dont remember exactly (it has been about 1 year since i switched from laptop to PC). I remember switching to PC and seeing that the autodemos were this way, and i thought it was because of some new setting i forgot to switch off. As far as i remember, some time after that this started to happen on my laptop as well. My PC arrived on 16th of January this year, so i assume on my laptop i had the late versions of 15. ddnet (maybe for example 15.7 - 15.9)

you could e.g. try

cl_port 15000
cl_dummy_port 15001

restart

and see if that helps (to reset the setting just do reset cl_port ...)

well 15.8 came out DEC 27 2021 and i got my PC on JAN 16 2022, but i cant know if i was updated to the newest version

ping stays like the same but my dummy still is like 250ms behind my inputs with mirror inputs on

I will try older versions out tomorrow, to know if the behaviour was different back then. If so, i will create an issue on GitHub so other devs can work on this. But this doesnt mean, that this will get fixed any time soon. (depends on the current workload of the active devs) (edited)
