I came across a weird bug a few minutes ago. Started a team run with my friend and after 3 mins, it turned out that we had joined someone else's practice team. He could /r and tp. His timer was the server's one and ours was normal race time (up until i tried /r and it got reset to server's as well)

Everything yoi described is intended behavior. Legit 0 bugs in this description. The only thing is you will loose your race time only when you use tp. Not when you /r

If he was the first person to join the team and didn't deliberately turn on practice mode then it might be a bug

When someone goes into team and starts parctice mode but doesn't lock it anyone can join at any time
