that sounds like demo file being written on disk, i used to have this years ago

hmm, could be driver issue, could be system throttling cpu for whatever reason (sth else running or overheating). do you have antivirus software running?

if yes, try disabling it

Windows defender and driver is up to date

disable windows defender and see if it changes anything

for you it's probably because of hard disk writes, especially after finish

you could try turning off demo recording, then it should not hang

disks accesses can indeed hang a process

maybe that's also a problem for potato

you can try with a bigger system buffer i think

I guess all disk writes we do during gameplay should happen in a separate thread

have u tried clean config? no custom skins/assets if u use 10 4k skins its obvious it laggs, when it has to move it from RAM or even swap to VRAM for example ^^ else same as always: monitor temperatures clean computer with air pressure unplug all usb stuff click "restart" in windows(not shutdown -> start, actual restart)
