Tldw he starts with the usual entities with properties model but ends up with arrays of properties indexed by the entity and transformation functions that work on groups of properties that fit into the cache entirely

This was my concern with the idea aswell. The way you code intuitively with array of structs you do end up with properties relevant to the entity within the cache. If your next values rely on anything except the old value of the property, it is possible that the other way is actually more cache efficient

There's a new UILayout system that is meant to replace the UnityUI system that replaced UnityGUI system with a new TextLayout system that replace the TextMeshPro layout system which they bought to replace their own old UnityUI text system.
