idk if this really is a bug, i've known about it for a long time, and i would really appreciate it if somebody would help me understand whats going on; a while ago i tried to fake one of my friends' skin as a challenge, and i wasnt able to do it. I asked them to give me the HSL and they did by sending me a screenshot. I changed my colours to the given ones and compared the skin colour of both images, and they were different. I asked them to rejoin with their client, and (presumably) without any updates or changes or anything, the skin in their client now appeared with the same colors as mine. The difference is very slight but i would really enjoy an explanation since its been bugging me for almost a year now :/

as you can see, even with tolerance the skins dont match

then they sent me another ssc when they rejoined the client, this time the colours matched (all 3 ssc compared)

some odd things i mentioned: the "old" skin has more detailed pixels than the "new" skin, aka there are more pixels with different colors, whilst in the "new" skin, there are more pixels with the exact same colour; the "old" skin doesnt match up the chosen colour correctly, the feet are slightly yellow, when the given HSL should be white

it's not a bug, it's just that teeworlds base color is not white but grey (192,192,192) in rgb for base color

the given feet colour HSL should result in white, like on the 2nd picture, but it results in slightly yellow
