I created a new Windows account, downloaded the DDNet client and the game did not start. After a long search on my main Windows account, I also removed Settings_ddnet from the folder, after that the game stopped starting and creating Settings_ddnet

I inserted the config manually in the new windows account and everything worked, then I decided to check the main account and removed the settings_ddnet config from there and it also broke until I returned the old config with certain settings

you can still install the driver, it will likely works correctly but you need to download it and install it manually
