It has been a while that it doesn't reset animations on crossing the start line, instead it synchronizes it to the server time allowing everyone to see the same thing. That setting broke when they changed the game time and was displayed in the middle of the screen. I already told deen a few years back.
maybe crossing startline should also reset bullet & lasers placement

The race time is no longer sent using the round tick. This will allow to use it to sync animations through all clients
