I think having a feature where you could choose to start a VC with people you want ingame could be a sick thing though. People cant troll, and you can easily have a VC with anyone you are playing with.

sure but you could easily use discord for that, and i'd imagine china probably has some other alternative thats used often

While discord is a great option, i think adding VC ingame would still have benefits. People who play more casually and/or are newer usually find a game partner in team 0 and do their run with them (potentially even going in team later on). But adding these persons to discord everytime is something most people would not want to do.
