Is entities background suddenly not working? It used to be able to switch to grey, but now that's not the case anymore.

Oh wait, I know the deal. The bind for cl_showquads is still cl_show_quads for me. I don't know if it's supposed to update automatically or not.

i like switching between entities/quads on/off depending on what's going on in game rather if im testing/studying/building or if im playing something that NEEDS quads

i think quads off on half my maps will look terrible

That's the thing. Rather I have tiles/quads on or off completely, one on and one off looks weird as heck

So okay, back to the same problem as yesterday. I took the latest crash report that he had in his Teeworlds dumps folder, but now that i think about it, it looks like he doesn't even get crash logs because that one was from june and not 16. whatever is the most recent version, so maybe there's a crashlog in some other folders ? Or maybe he just doesn't get crash logs because the game doesn't even register as opened before crashing ?

Idk if it's a bug, but when i changed renderer from "custom" OpenGL (2.6.0) (or something like that) to OpenGL (1.4.0), after restart i don't have that custom OpenGl (2.6.0) anymore, as you can see on screenshot.

@Jupstar ✪ would know better, but if you aren't shown things past 1.4 something might have went wrong during the auto detection at the startup. Maybe try backing up your old config and deleting it. The next launch should do the autodetection again

So i tried making him install version 16.1 again, it works again but when he updated it, it stopped working and did the same black screen as before, so it looks like some app or his antivirus blocking a file in ddnet making the game corrupted or something so it just doesn't work anymore. He'll probably continue playing on that 16.1 version until next update to see if it changes anything (edited)

Only @Jupstar ✪ can really answer that, idk why it doesnt show the option even if autodetection thinks it's the best option

Bcs Intel systems on windows default to an opengl version that isnt displayed there, if vulkan is supported use that on intel systems

I also have not been able to open the newest version of DDNet. I don't even get any visual change when I run it - all that happens is it appears in Task Manager and then stays there indefinitely.
