and the gets frozen at the edge of last freeze when falling, but the calculation is somehow rounded differently due to x coordinate precision change (edited)

but shouldn't the falling along the y-axis be independent of the x coordinate?

x coordinate probably enters computation somewhere and change behavior on y axis as well
