@Tsin You said:
"btw I once tried to map in ddnet but that feature with picking layer on shift or ctrl and right click of mouse is a big mistake. I bet it was added by a person who never mapped."
are there multiple people who think like that? I just mapped today and this also bothers me a lot, but i would like to have some more voices before suggesting to switch it something else (to what?)
@Vy0x2
If I would develop that then my first move would be to assign that feature to middle mouse button aka mouse button 3. From what I see it allowes now to move the layers so it does the same as ctrl+drag screen with mouse button 1 (so we have 2 combinations of keys for one feature).
With this scenario we would still have moving layers like it always was (ctrl+mb1)
and a handy feature (picking layer) at hand so at mb3
and we would get rid of that annoying picking layers when you're just moving around the map and accidently click right mouse button
Yea i was thinking about middle mouse button too but i was not sure that it has no function yet (ah moving layers is on middle mb too? could replace that with picking ye)(edited)
@cyberFighter and nobody wants to remove it, just change the assign of buttons so it won't be accidently triggered while checking whole map.
ctrl+mb1 (drag) - "move layers" (like it always was, nothing changed)
ctrl+shift+mb1 (drag) - "move around the map" (like it always was, nothing changed)
middle mouse button (mb3) -remove the "move layers" feature and replace it with "pick layers" feature)
ctrl+mb2 - remove "pick layers" feature (so it won't be driggered accidently)
any good mappers here interested in doing a collab for an insane flow map? (https://youtu.be/G659GApk9rE) was thinking some parts from other ppl would be cool

I'm making a map, not ready yet, but i noticed some submitted maps are being left behind with no conclusion... while others quickly get the proper attention and being released. that's cool for the new maps, but is there some criteria on which map gets prioritized? or some sort of queue? just wondering.
Hey so im making a map and i wondered if anyone wants to look at what ive got so far and tell me if im on the right track? just so i dont get insta-declined as soon as its submitted
