for the entities some image editors support grids so you could just set the grid to 64 x 64 and it will snap to it and also not take up a pixel and be potentially confusing (however for stuff like the skin template where the grid is inconsistent its pretty useful)

that's not really needed, it's enough to just keep map channels on topic

Yeah that would work but IMO it would be nice to be able to talk about specific maps in the threads of their own channels, just a thread for semi off topic discussion (but still related to the map). It could still be useful to some people, like maybe the mapper, where they'd be less likely to see a discussion in #general , as opposed to inside a channel of their own map that they probably check on frequently.

i just think having threads would be good to encourage map discussion (which maybe isnt needed), and also help keep the main channel on topic by just having an off topic dump that is still related to a specific map
