You need to create a directory in the assets directory. Name ddnet.png for ddnet, fng.png for fng etc.
The default ones are in data/editor/entities_clear

mh lol did not know that works. xD I added a "ddnet particles" assets tab. But thinking about this, we could use the normal particles tab, and using the same structure as in entities. What do you think?

mh, I have to look into the code. It is in the end only one texture right? So if I would use it for particles, we would also need to include the teeworlds particles. I do not know if @Ravie would like that.
