all the setting is saved inside appdata, as long as you didnt change new pc your setting will be same in new version of client

incase you need the backup, you may find the setting file (settings_ddnet.cfg) inside %appdata%\Teeworlds

For this you need to port forward, I recommend looking up a tutorial in youtube or asking someone with more experience on it. You can also run lan servers that only you can join. Another alternative is opening a trashmap, tho those are always localized in germany, to open one look up the trashmap website on google
