So I wanted to bring back this idea that someone had mentioned a while back which was this idea of a "cup of the day" type tournament like trackmania has, I've been thinking about it and had this somewhat similar alternative, of course having a new map every day to play is nigh near impossible, but having one or two every month, separated from the main modes as a new mode titled "tourney maps" might be a cool idea, this allows for not nearly as detailed or play-tested maps to be used, while keeping the integrity of having high-quality and well-made maps in the main game modes. Of course I'm not saying to just accept any shit map into this, but rather have the standards be more based on fluidity and gameplay rather than innovation.
It's really just an idea, as it has some flaws, but maybe it can get some heads thinking(?)
