we also get an error if you press Add "22-04-28 20:34:36][sound/opus]: failed to open file. filename='mapres/'" so maybe you have to put some opus files in the folder first

yes with an file in it, it works I downloaded an opus file from here https://filesamples.com/formats/opus and took care that I changed the file extension to ".opus" and placed it in ~/.teeworlds/mapres/ on windows it would be %appdata%\teeworlds\mapres\ I think

how to save exec?

if cl_save_settings is on, then the game will put your configuration into %appdata%\teeworlds\settings_ddnet.cfg when closing the game

yea so you can save your current config to make sure you dont lose your settings, then copy it into a new file, edit that exec and whenever you want to record a demo use "exec demo.cfg"
