how to place a tile without snapping to grid? i have 2 tiles of "restore jump" next to each other and i want to place a proper tile to mark it but i want to place it right in the middle of the 2 tiles. alternatively, how to make a quad using a tile from a tileset
21:13
ie. how to do this (this is done in ms paint)
Avatar
you could place the layer in its own group and give the group an offset of 16 (32 = 1 tile) in the x direction
Avatar
ah i thought i saw that option somewhere but i couldnt find it on the layer options, thx (edited)
Avatar
or u can use a quad and cut it out of the quad and place it anywhere in a single layer

Just use tex v and u, it has a scale going from 0 to 1024 pixels. If your image isn't 1024x1024, just apply a multiplying factor. Each point has its own coordinate in v and u, define the area you want to keep and adjust the points/edges coordinates (edited)

Maybe I'm just too used to it
