If you are trying to run the official ddnet maps from https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet-maps, then just copy the DDNet-Server into that directory and run it from there

you can join a kog server, vote your specified map, and the map will download to %appdata%\teeworlds\downloadedmaps

ddnet is complicated

you might need to rename the file since all downloaded maps are saved as <mapname>_<random letters and numbers>.map (edited)
