I implemented a new set of binds that seem to be lagging my game. Is there ways to fix this or should I stop fucking around?

they gradually change my color when I press buttons

idk about any binds who lag the game xd

@Hav can you send the binds here? are you 100% sure that lag is caused by bind

maybe it loads some cfg from disk

you cant change your skin, only every 5 sec or so

i think the problem is you are processing 600 files per second

it started out a pretty chill 256 files but this is the best results by far. I really would love to keep it.

Not sure if this is a joke or not. Ask your operating system to improve the performance of opening 26000 files

Or use a different file system, or put the entire directory on a ramdisk

bruh that would take days justatest

can write a script in a few minutes to generate them, that's not the hard part

wouldn't it be easier to mod the client code to do that instead

132500 seconds to loop through all the colors which is 1.5 days (assuming 1 color change per 5sec, which is my knowledge as how often you can change color)

If you're using an HDD, SSD might help. Otherwise might be a Windows problem, or antivirus software checking each cfg file before opening it

why would people even use cfgs instead of txt

because its a .cfg file

why use extensions for bind files at all, nicer to type exec something than exec something.cfg

i use .txt files because notepad edits .txt files
