From Discord:
[1:00 AM] plsplsplslol: self-prediction in switched freeze doesn't work with high ping on 15.7 version. if you play Jajpack with high ping, your tee won't be predicted at all (like playing with cl_predict 0) and will constantly jump around. this doesn't happen on ddnet 15.5.4 [3:11 AM] plsplsplslol: it works better on 15.8.1 but it still has very noticable lag when you cross the start ...

GitHub's new project experience is built with flexibility in mind. Here's how to get started with GitHub Issues and project planning.

I have found like no information about how to start coding for ddnet. Even if code is open source, documentation should be more accessible. Website does not link to any hack/dev guide. Even wiki has no dev section. Teeworlds.com has a Docs section, in which you find some dev advices. At least some gems like edgarluque's guide could be linked inside a ddnet.tw/dev page. Even indexing wiki or forums tutorials links in one dev page would be very helpful for beginners.

Isn't there like a small documentation about what role each class is for?
13:21
@Wohoo you could prob look at chillerdragon's videos
13:22
Ah nvm it's on tw vanilla, not ddnet

My video series is using the teeworlds vanilla code. But I do mention everything that is different in ddnet. So technically you could follow along and if a video is not working at all in ddnet code I mention that (@ReiTW)

Your YouTube teeworlds programming playlist does not seem to appear in the wiki page

are we still working on the SVG implementation? if so, are there any images i can try to accurately form an SVG out of?

Jupstar ✪ BOT 2022-02-12 15:52:34Z
sure we currently try to have all images in the data directory as SVG https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet-data-svg
Contribute to ddnet/ddnet-data-svg development by creating an account on GitHub.
15:52
so we can add a high res option @Voxel
15:53
for mapres and skins would be nice to make them accurate as you say, for GUI stuff personally i'm also ok with redoing them, just the formats(width, height) have to fit
Avatar
im going to try and tackle the map res ones. they seem kinda fun to do

Jupstar ✪ BOT 2022-02-12 15:54:22Z
nice :D

Else the script tries to use the current system locale (in my case de_DE) which can result in floating points being wrongly parsed

Quick question- Does anyone know what font is used for basic_freeze here?
Avatar
if you need to know for making it hi res i wouldn't worry about that part
18:52
well then basic_freeze and sun are done
18:53
tho idk how to remove the export path in an svg
Avatar
doesn't rly matter
18:54
and imo you could spend your time with better things but if you want to remake a bunch of mapres then have fun lol
Avatar
i mean, are other people already doing this? or
Avatar
yes
19:01
we can do it
19:02
it's more a reminder, but the CI would fail anyway, so it's fine 😄

I analysed this image with https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont It says: Typograph Pro SemiBold
