why is strong/weak still a thing? im assuming cause maps may require strong/weak or atleast be easier with it? Also wondering why /spec isnt a thing on all maps or have just some way to toggle between weak/strong for everyone for all maps that should in theory not be able to be abused (like /spec can, with the sg glitch)
So, first of all, the only possible solution to this would be a map setting to decide if every player should have strong. This way we make sure no old maps break/no behaviour for current ranks chan...

They talk a bit about the larger issues that come with removing weakhook here
They is other cheat than SG bug + thé spec is useless in Map like novice + if u add spec on all Map u need to changé Map 1 by 1 and everyone know mod and admin are lazy af

and is there a reason /spec isnt a thing on all maps?
Hello, I have a question regarding the client.
I have a weak laptop and the client crashes sometimes.
What is the best setting for weak hardware?
I use old opengl, no high detail, no background image, don't show others...
It's really annoying because I sometimes race and then my laptop lags (it's not a network lag) and suddenly I'm in freeze.
Sometimes the whole client shuts down.
drag the first map into map_extract.exe and then import the image in the second map. but make sure you ask the mapper/graphics creator if you can use it
GPU: Intel HD 3000
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2540M CPU @ 2.60GHz
4G RAM
I don't have a graphic card. (it's CPU integrated - I think) I don't know about hardware. Shall I update my CPU or I could get an external NVIDIA GPU.

I don't know how to use gdb, I tried the debug mode in ddnet.
I sometimes run DDNet from terminal but can't remember finding something special.
I will make screenshot next time. And try using gdb.

It crashes randomly. Preferably close to freeze tiles

DDNet client has a multitude of commands and settings that can be bound to nearly any key or mouse button. You can enter commands into the console, which by default is accessed by pressing F1.
