make your dummy active and type /timeout password into the chat, then give the password to your friend

unplug your ethernet cable or whatever to timeout, when the server announces that they have timed out your friend can type /timeout password into chat to take control of your dummy

then when you re-join it will automatically reconnect you to your main tee
