that command is not necessary anymore nowadays, client sends its view distance to server and server sends all players you can see

I think that there are many players which just don't want to have work on uploading or even recording their runs. That's why just a few players are using it. I like speedrun.com and would be happy about having more Rank 1-3 runs for uploading
