Seems to work again, was probably a network problem from Chile to our database server. We recently switched to only having one database server for simplicity so this might occur more often. Ranks are still stored locally and will be inserted after a day

not really. 3d mapping is really just coordinates mathematically put in places where it simulates where it would be in a 3d plane

mostly depends on the graphics driver you have

hmm, would that automatically mean windows? since i assume the best native drivers are mostly used in windows (edited)

linux might have less stuff running in the background
