if they have standard mouse settings u can type /mdump 1 on my servers and look at the leftmost column; if it says 399 or 400 then they havent used dyn, if it says 632 or 633 then they have used it since connecting

If you press Y, you'll start typing in team chat, so only people in your current team will be able to read it... So if you joined a /team, or if you're in Spectators. If you join neither, the people that also haven't joined will be able to read what you say freely. It's more-so an old mechanic from when it was PVP focused, in vanilla Teeworlds. Because you're typing in team chat, not all chat. By using Y, rather than T.

T and then tab, T should be used for normal conversations, if the person you're trying to talk to is in spec, they won't see your message.. (Unless you're whispering them, that'll take priority over team chat anyways)
