if you want the feature to be on ddnet and not your private fork then the correct and best way to do this is:

i saw some vanilla based bot once that tracked nade owner ids

maybe the bot used some heuristic e.g the closest player from the projectile when it spawned and saved that info

yea possible because it also only worked when the nade was fired int the visible range. Guess ill go with heuristics too then.

I think he doesn't set it because he needs a prediction hack that requires extremely high velocity projectiles which confuse the ddnet client because we use velocity >512 to indicate extended projectiles

Well we don't display client versions in ddnet, but noby does in fng, so it'd be displayed there

I dont think so, but I think I saw a pr where it actually clamps the m_Owner to < MAX_CLIENTS

!image If you zoom out too much this seems to happen. I think the snap gets too large and something gets dropped causing this. Not sure what, maybe the character. @trml you were the last one to look around the snap order, anything come to mind?

alright i just tried it out and the downloaded one takes way less time to load.
