Hey, quick question. What's the 'best' way of making tiles hookable from one side, but hookthrough from the other? I'm pretty sure outdated hookthrough can do this but I'm wondering if new hookthrough can do this too. My naive attempt yielded tiles that are hookable from one side and unhookable from the other, which is interesting and could be useful, but it isn't what I'm going for.

Ok so i guess it depends on the regular collision's rotation as well?

which is weird because normally that doesnt matter at all for hookable/unhookable tiles (edited)

You sure you didn't mistaken the colors of it? Purple you can hook and Grey you can't. I don't think there is a problem on rotating them, cause I rotate them and still work.

im pretty sure if i rotate the one-way hookthrough but not the hookable that's in the same place, it behaves wrong

like i tested hooking from both sides and neither was hookthrough

that said my ddnet isnt fully up-to-date so maybe it got broken or fixed at some point before/after

That can be possible too. Keep your version and download the latest one and check Edit: I mean download it from website and extract it somewhere else so you don't loose your other ddnet (edited)

Make sure the one-way ht is in "front" layer and rest in game. It really shouldn't be a problem on rotating them bcs if you want to hook from different angles then you must rotate them at some point. Try rotate them with "R" or try mirror it with "N" and "M"

You can also try open new file and see if still same (maybe is a problem with your map file, sometimes corrupts)

i tested, its because you rotate with mirroring ("n" or "m") it not "r" or "t"

middle 2 one is use normal rotate, other i use "n" or "m"
