I think for the timeline page it would be really nice to get some accurate info on the history of the ddrace mod in general. Not sure if that's irrelevant cuz the wiki is for ddnet specifically. I notice people are always asking about ddmax/oldschool, when they existed etc. I know there's non ddnet race maps and people who used to run ctf maps. iDDrace was something at some point? I wonder if anybody remembers very first map that had corner drag parts. I've pieced together the rough timeline just from talking to old players about this, but I don't have any actual proven dates and stuff. Do ya'll think this is too out of the scope of what the wiki should cover? I'd be happy to put stuff together and write it on the wiki if you all think it's a good idea. Would be nice to get some names of some super active old players that I could try to contact for details. I know I could talk to Tsin about ddmax stuff, but for oldschool and earlier stuff, no clue.

dangit now I'm wondering what that was about too lol i saw some of those old other ddrace modes long long ago when i first discovered tw (and then forgot about it) and i didnt play enough to learn anything about what they were

I think that would be super interesting to read and it's DDNet related so it fits into the wiki.

You can ask Tsin for ddmax history, but I don't know who knows older history of ddrace well
