next you can start the server executable of the 0.6.5 teeworlds that you downloaded. you can configure your server by editing the autoexec_server.cfg + restarting the server. in the autoexec_server.cfg you can also set a port (I think it's 8303 by default), if you want other people outside of your home to join, you need to port forward that udp port

were is "autoexec_server.cfg", i cat find it in the file

either in the folder where the server executable is, or in appdata/teeworlds/data

don't know off the top of my head how to navigate to that %appdata% folder, hope you can find that yourself?

oh, vanilla? then it should be in the teeworlds folder where the client executable is

@Bod9 in the folder you downloaded you should sind a config_directory.bat, double-clicking that should take you to the config directory

@Bod9 Learath made a good point here, if you want people to be able to join with the ddnet client, you should use your downloaded teeworlds 0.6.5 ddnet clients won't be able to join to the teeworlds 0.7 server that is the main version in steam

He could also just create a autoexec_server.cfg himself

its different from router to router, so its tedious to try to guide someone through it. you will need to know your router password and log into its web interface. that web interface can look very different, so try to find some guide in the internet to help you

And also you need some type of NAT traversal OR have not strict NAT from your ISP or have dedicated IP
