I would call them "physics layers", but am unsure if "game layers" is the norm

I think Game layers is fine, could also be Game group layers or just Game group

How do I make a horizontal door? Do I have to rotate the tiles somehow?

iirc you create a door by placing 2 tiles next to each other, one of the tiles is the start point of the door and the other one determines the direction of the door

so you can make it vertical by moving that second tile above/below the other tile

those numbered tiles determine length and direction of the door
