Where can I practice gore maps? Someone on the server told me that there are maps to specifically practice that. Also (if there is something for this more specific thing) whats best for practicing horizontal 1 tilers? Do all people that can do them just painstakingly do it over and over and over again until their hands fall off or is there a better method?

i didnt really plan that, but there is a map optimizer tool that removes tiles that aren't used from tile sets, which decreases the size quite a bit

also maps dont save images as png sadly, and the zlib compression isnt really optimal for images

That's not how vector graphics works. Someone would need to draw them again over the png by hand. And even then the teeworlds engine doesnt support rendering vector gfx
