install drivers from nvidia.com
if its ingame, reset all vars
cl_refresh_rate 0;gfx_highdpi 1;gfx_vsync 0;gfx_display_all_video_modes 0;gfx_high_detail 1;gfx_fsaa_samples 0;gfx_refresh_rate 0;gfx_finish 0;gfx_backgroundrender 1;gfx_asyncrender_old 1;gfx_quad_as_triangle 0;
But i'd say just install the driver
I had made a map that gave 16 points, but today I went to log in and simply the points on the map were not there, and on the website it appears that I have them
Then as much as you won't like the answer, give the laptop back as long as you can.
Angledust had the exact same issue, and we found out that, even if the game uses the NVIDIA card it still uses over 60% the intel card(see screenshot)

This is NVidia optimus. I really don't know what the criteria is, if its used in this mode.
The original intend is, that the nvidia card has no connection to the display, so it needs to copy everything from the nvidia card back to the intel card to output the image...
This is why its very slow.
As far as I am aware @Chairn for some reason doesn't have this in 32bit mode, so maybe the NVidia drivers invalidly enables this mode even tho the gpu is connected to the display in 64bit.
In the internet i read you can enable/disable that in some laptop motherboards (especially the gaming class), you can defs try that
For CS:GO you don't notice it, bcs 200 fps is still smaller than what the Intel GPU can handle
I'd look for a laptop that doesn't mention this optimus shit, since its just a invention to save some bucks and give the user a bad experience.
Else you'll probably have to live with either using the Intel GPU or the NVidia with low FPS.
Angledust and me didn't find any solution, and the above is the most logical explaination(edited)

meh
16:51

on entities and have 300 and without 30

well it could still just be a bad driver, i'd really suggest try that from nvidia.com i can give you the link if you want
else i dont see why a good nvidia card would struggle this much
16:53
either the driver or some hack like nvidia optimus where the intel card is the fault
