i don't mean that ddmax have no creative parts , but that when people say it's like ddmax it means like those parts that are basic ... not every single map . i even remember playing ddmax maps that was more interesting to play then new maps , because they was creative parts not like new maps ....

and tsin we know that ddmax had cool maps like ones you gave as example but most of them are annoying-drag-dummy-drag-gores maps which we are all finishing without any enjoy (knight's maps for example)

tsin has a alert system for anytime someone mentions ddmax so he can intervene

dunno there are not many modern maps out there which actually take me out of my comfort zone, most just reiterate stuff i've done since the beginning of ddrace. "Basic drag maps" so to say. But like, that's not a bad thing. Creativity is not as important as flow and shit. I would even claim that a creative map has a hard time to be actually good and enjoyable

Btw the first map i changed was skynet 1 by szyker and there was no map tutorial that you could learn from. Most of map "tutorials" in that time had very basics. This is editor and this is how you add a layer
