I don't think there is a rule on ddnet that u are not allowed to use any nickname you want also there is no account system that would allowe for registering a name. There are games in which your character have a unique name (Diablo 2/3) but I've never heard of such a rule in TW =]

When they create accounts, mb open a new season of ddrace, and send all points to the old season (and already start points on accounts, and leave the old ones by nicknames), then everyone will have more chances to get into the top5 xd

In teeworlds it's more about knowing each other and who plays how, so it's very hard to fake someone if u met old player with a pro name
