the "[!FAKE]" clan on ddnet servers is a joke. you get the "[!FAKE]" clan on KoG servers when you create a kog account for your user name and don't login when you join a KoG server

on KoG servers you can create an account. once you created an account for your name, that name is protected for you. so when you join a kog server with your name, your clan will change to "[!FAKE]" until you log in

The keys work, I checked it in other games, the point is in the game itself for some reason

Could it be that something is wrong with the novice servers? like a few months ago i always had over 20 servers i was able to play on with less than 80ping. now i have my ping set to 150 and most of the time i have like 3-5 servers shown. i didn't change any filter and my internet also didnt get worse. i noticed that i don't see any german servers anymore and most servers i see are polish

here are all my filters and stuff. it's just very empty and most of the time very empty servers (besides multeasymap sometimes but also 20 people max but also very rare)

u tried if you can find them if u increase maximum ping?

do what itsqed said and also try removing your search filter

it says 814 servers so i think you're just filtering them out

connect again and double check your ping, sometimes it is out of date

weird. just connected to a random german server which said to have a ping over 300 and it had a ping of 18 and all (or atleast many) german servers appeared under my normal ping filter with a ping of 18 or similare. weird that the ping didnt refresh in the last 2 months

try connecting to ger2 and check if your ping is actually as high as shown in the server browser

yes this is because of a recent change that involves recording your last ping instead of continuously updating it (as a result of a security improvement)

you likely disconnected RIGHT when your ping spiked, giving you a higher than average ping recorded
