how do you learn gores tech? like there are all those names that people use, where do they find out about them?
like easyfly or lucky hammer or aled.
is there a place to learn all that? i can only find basic tutorials =(

im not new to teeworlds, but this just seems unachievable, so i thought there had to be something i didnt know about the game still(like something that makes this actually doable) :D i guess not. thank you for the answers, practicing it is then(edited)
Gores is mostly just coming up with reproducible setups, it's very hard for someone to teach them. You usually watch and come up with your own while trying to recreate it

There are ofc some basics, like for stability you want to move in the opposite direction the hook is pulling you. For control you usually prefer shorter hooks, etc.

so less directional keys? im kinda used to that from run and ddrace modes, because usually you just have to get as far as you can as fast as you can, but this is different

Even this is mostly generic advice btw, you'll want to use your direction keys a lot for tighter gores. But it is good advice to use your hook a lot more in general
alright, this clears most of my questions then.
like im not the only one who thinks this is nuts and hard to learn.
and that you just basically practice alot and there are no real resources that help you learn this, so innovation and monkey see monkey do it is.

ah yeah, i started with fly to the legends 2 @SnSmNtNs its on ddnet as im corneum said.
Even if i played teeworlds for around 4 years before(pvp mods) i still needed around 1 month to finish it, so its alot of tryhard. insane gores like in your video is alot of feeling your up and downspeed. e.g. if you save someone u need to have around as much upspeed as the downspeed u get hooking the person + the time lost by hammering that person until u rehook. i'd suggest doing short parts at beginning and try to use more and more AD movement. if you really good with good hook and AD movement timing you can alsmost stand still in the air, and thats one of the keys for insane gores

Best is your activate sv_rescue 1 on your local server(autoexec_server.cfg) and bind r say /r
so you can use r on your keyboard to do the part again
fttl2 yeah, found it funny. maps like fliplipp4(easy map on kog) were kinda boring, then someone told me, if u want challenge do that map xD, and that got me
