sup sup. i was wondering if someone could help me. im playing a bit ddnet again since yesterday and i have for some weird reason little ping spikes now and then wich only occurs on ddnet servers. what can cause this and how can i fix it?

do you play on a wired or wireless connection?

normally there's not much you can do other than improve your NIC/distance to router

german servers mostly

i think the german servers are usually smooth, about how far away from germany are you?

it must be a network issue

well idk any other servers work. like kog works perfectly fine for me

i don't know if there are any ddnet-specific things you can do to improve ping, that's about where my ability to help stops

yep.

that's really frustrating

and i dont think that it has to do with ddosing because the servers would lag more then. as i said its just some small ping spikes that occur every 4-5 seconds

maybe run a test with https://www.speedtest.net/ and see what your ping is
