Yes, my ping is 8 higher on new GER1 compared to old GER1, but it's the same as on GER2 (edited)

Nothing stops you from keeping EU as the region but ranks can be local? But again, really depends because you can have regional ranks, local ranks, global ranks, etc. At present @Zodiac#1726 rank change does local ranks. So may be in the future you keep it regional on server and local would need to be viewed on the website. (edited)
