I don't think It would. Maybe just on the maps that use that glitch with weak hooks. I don't know if those maps are approved or not.

Its a good feature and its way more behind than just a different hook strength. Several DDRace physics are based on it

I also dislike it for that reason. You either have to fix the whole math. So no weak bounces and other weak stuff. Or don't change it. The first thing would require to rewrite how most part of the physics work since it would split the moving acceleration code from the hook and collision of other tees acceleration code. And so stuff like stoppers won't work as they do right now. The way kog and other mods fix it is just too random and makes the physics more random

Nice profile picture btw. Mhmmm.. best way is to play different maps (start with Novice servers) to get a feel of the hook. Some parts will each you different techniques and over time your understanding of the hook will get better to the point you dont need to think about what you doing. I wouldnt say you need 10 years necessarily. The mud we call freeze! =)
