so if the worst punishment is "your cheated rank might get deleted" there is 0 incentive to report any bugs
When you rename yourself to "Pablo Cheato" before using the bug it's pretty clear that you're aware that it's a cheat and not just a new feature(edited)
It won't help anyway. Every noname could have found and abuse it. Maybe such features need longer testing time. I was told the feature is implemented like /timeout. So there definitely were uncertainties
Dude, if people know that bug abusing won't get punished, it's just an encouragement for more people to do it, wtf is so hard to understand about that, do you want to see this game burn or what? xd
Dude I had to sit like 3-4 hours yesterday on that map, because I always failed the edge on the beginning and that one part in the middle of the map where you have to throw and hook the tee through the small 2 tile opening
I think server bugs should be reported by players (i dont do that mostly xd) but i wouldnt report a map cheat instead of abusing it

I mean the difference is, admins have a lot work on investigation of server bugs that could be abused on any map.
If its only a specific map its pretty easy. I dont think maps should get fixed without the mappers permission anyway (except startlineskips maybe)
But recently i see super shit fixes of maps with new hooktrough in oldschool maps for example or fixes with way more changes than needed and i really dont like that.
Maybe ask me for the best fix with the least impact on maps experience or gameplay
Point with not reporting bugs like this is that you get to have fun for an hour or so, we get to dig through hundreds of thousands of files often needing to code new tools to analyze them. It's just a colossal waste of time
Well we both "clans" (admins and abusers like me) have to learn something from this history. Tbh i didn't know that it would be that annoying for you guys to fix everything. Snail explained to me a bit the process (with teehistorian and stuff) and now i know more about it, and i'd like to apologize to the admins who lost their time for nothing just because i wanted to have fun. In the future i'd report it directly to an admin. On the other hand it showed that the tests of these new features have to be reinforced since the cheat wasn't even that hard to find. Maybe hiring guys who know well the game and are known to find cheats/bugs would be the best or a good solution. I remember some nicks of the guys who saw us, if you need any of them I could give them to you in DM. Once again i'm sorry for the trouble it caused.
Feature was open for testing for weeks, then on GER2 only inside of teams only, then all servers inside team only, next step would have been team 0 too
As i said creating a team that has the role to find the potential bugs of these features is probably better than just putting it on a serv and waiting for some guys to test it on their own

and afaik it doesnt even add aditional time like /save to the run
And experienced players are also better to test these features since a novice player isn't able to understand the potential of some cheats such as the swap thing(edited)
@houseme-kyle do you think you could implement that? Also, should we maybe lower the 3 minute time and allow it in team 0? Feels like at the moment the feature is so annoying to use that /save and ...

You can click the Render button in the bottom right when selecting a demo, it'll render it into a mp4 file that'll appear in \Roaming\Teeworlds\videos ...
Though, I don't think this process is very fast at all, I think it's only really best for quickly rendering small clips.
