go on the server with the map > ctrl + shift + e to open editor > File (top left) > Load current map > after it's loaded, go to File > Save As, then save as whatever name it is (don't just press Save or else it will be saved as the mapname along with a long hash)
Ok, so everything's working up until this point. I'm trying to get TimeWarp from the latest KoG tournament working. It has a special script for the grenade launcher where you can teleport using it. How I would I bring that over too?
Yes, if it's accepted into the skins on https://ddnet.tw/skins . Skin team takes care of them, you can post your skin on DDNet forum or in #showroom for consideration
uh, for the map saving thingy, if i remove every numbers on every maps, will it re-download them with the numbers if i join a normal ddrace server?

like BlackBear5, if i delete the BlackBear5[insert random numbers here].map and put only BlackBear5.map in the "maps" folder, will it still work normally?
Has anyone had an issue with their monitor leaving trail / ghosting type lines?
22:01
Its hard to explain but sometimes after playing TW for a while my new monitor leaves trail / ghost like lines... I think its my monitor as opposed to a game bug / issue but it doesn't really happen in any other games (probably because i can't find any that have the same type as Teeworlds)... It usually happens on dark maps - anyone else experienced anything like this?

Guys jetpack guns should make you fly right? So why does mine just slown down the speed I fall and doesn't get me up
you need to have a high refresh rate monitor with very minimal "ms" delay time to be able to play teeworld using fast movements
22:16
there are monitors made for movies, and monitors made for games. gaming monitors cost a fuck ton more because they refresh the image fast af and don't leave any shadows in fast movement.
Actually - I might be missing some drivers for this monitor, i've seen online photos of it that show more settings under my display adapter area

Basically after about 10min of gameplay if there is any freeze zones they'll have big black lines after i jump / fall
22:20
like the freeze zone edges are ghosting on vertical movement
22:20
i'm only seeing this in Teeworlds so far though - I've been checking other games for a similar effect
22:21
I have overdrive set to +2 in monitor settings which seems to make it somewhat better - whats even more interesting is as the gameplay goes on, the ghosting effect gets worse
My PC has a RTX2070 in it with an I7 processor and 32GB of RAM(edited)
22:22
so spec wise, it can 100% run Teeworlds
22:23
... its p***ing me off xD
22:23
22:25
Any ideas / setting changes or w.e. would be appreciated... Its not a be all and end all issue obviously, just annoying sometimes when theres big smear lines whilst moving about in game(edited)
After about 20-30 minutes, this becomes about 3-4x worse
22:42
Eventually, it ends up something like this: https://youtu.be/CRKV1nnH8HU - as you can see I am editing the overdrive setting here which improves it drastically... Trouble is, even with +2 it ends up acting like its set to -2 eventually (edited)
22:44
I've gone through each of the settings on my monitor and the only one that seems to really impact this is overdrive... so I'm trying to figure out if I am missing software / driver or a setting can fix this in TW maybe?
