This I guess sums up how the average player feels about the warning. It literally tells you something is broken and their reaction is "it's annoying"

We should just refuse to load broken skins instead of guessing like we used to do, maybe if something is actually very obviously broken people will actually fix it
yeah on 4k skins u probs dont notice the pixels being off so much
but that doesnt mean its right
also it gets resized internally, which costs cpu time
on lower resolutions its also quite noticable, bcs then it also "feels" off

you could list all the images that will be disabled and if it's game.png and such, load default
That's technically what we do minus the disabling. I thought disabling would be arbitrarily hindering the user but maybe we should be hindering the user if we want to get this issue of missized assets actually under control
well i could be wrong, but i think these warnings are only currently of a bigger matter, as soon as ppl stop getting these broken skins, or create them, or somehow being able to download thumbnails, they wouldnt even share anymore
indeed version 15.2.5 already supported these HD skins without warnings, and then we had reports of broken skins.. thats why we even added these warnings
I don't know if it's really a bug, but just putting it there, when doing "/spec" with dummy then unspecing, when you switch back to main and use hammerfly or deepfly bind (both are the same technically), dummy switches form hammer to gun everytimes.
