yeah Jupstar is right, don't use gfx_show_warning 0 i had the same problem hence I was annoyed, but now I deleted them the troublemaker skins were cammostripes maha4Xteam noob

it's just that a game should handle its resource on its own instead of outsourcing that work to the user

i guess it iterates of the files inside the folder, and it could just not push_back if criteria not met, so as if it didnt exist

then ppl are confused about missing skins

show a warning with sign "skin %s will not be used in the game because ..." (edited)

ok it could load the texture, but display "this skin has invalid dimensions" when trying to set it and therfore disallow the user. if a player sets tee skin in settings.cfg it could display that message on startup and set to default skin

i know it's to alert a mod if someone votes, but if the mod themselves votes it still pings which i find a little weird
