I put up a map test server for my work in progress "Yuppy-Ki-Yay"map, but then Broken logged in and said that the parts of my map were not original enough. Has everything been done before? How can a tee make a new original map these days?
if ur semi experienced with the game then you can tell when a part is too plain vs when its not

a lot of things have been done before if you restrict yourself to regular tiles. if u want smtg "original! and creative!" the best way is to find some weird tune or tile and basically abuse it as ur main map mechanic but i wouldnt do that

u can just play around on a lan server and try and just create some stuff, 90% of the time i dont get any ideas but whenever i start getting some ideas, the rest of the map kinda just flows from there
