I wanted to make a mobile app just for myself that would show all ddnet maps and my profile basically downloaded from ddnet.tw. Because I often use a site from phone to check it and find it uncomfortable

Then I realized that this idea may be extended and someone else would like to use the app too. So, the app could contain optional registration which would allow user to vote for maps, just as I wanted

so ppl who spend 2 mins on registration could vote if the maps they finished are good / not. And how would they rate it's difficulty

this could allow us to rerate maps, create new category for outdated maps and so on. (Also it can help with account system implementation in ddnet)

also the problem is now stuff decided to break star ratings completely as they rate new maps as "for complete newbies" instead of old "for teeworlds pros, but not on ddrace mod"

We need more technically "confusing" maps, where it's not obvious how a team can possibly get through a part until that play around with that part a bit. I think players like that sort of thing since it's more engaging than just trying a hard asf part over and over without having to think.

I played a DDMax map the other day where you had to hammer throw your partner up into an unfreeze area and then they have you grab you while they are still in the air and hammer throw you up into a higher unfreeze area, all just in the open air. First time I had seen that, super fun, probably old asf news to everyone else. Took a minute to figure out what to do. Fun stuff. I like that it wasn't immediately obvious what I had to do, and also it wasn't that hard, just had to think for a minute.

I think the map name was either "Away" or "KitKat 2" but I can't remember off the top of my head. Short map with a couple little tricks that made it unique and fun to play more than once.

I think people would also like moderate maps with easier endings. I see novice folks spend 2 hours getting to the end of a moderate map and then the very last part is just a little too hard for them lol. Total waste of time and discouraging. I've only seen a couple maps like that though

some players have problems with CHL servers , sometimes they have 20-40 ping and other times they have 80-100, It seems to be not working properly
