Mmm am afraid not, you cant copy groups like ctrl+c doesnt work. The only thing u can do in a group, just hold shift and click on the layers u want in that same group, if they are all in reed it means they are highlighted. Then u can drag from an empty space the tiles u wanna move or smth an so they move all

Cool part, for me edge hooks became boring nowdays, alot of maps has alot of edgehooks, so I would say try avoiding it in normal parts and use them to make new crazy edges or brain part that needs edges etc etc... (edited)

For example that speedup with the edge + rehook on ht i think its cool, but then a simple flying edge is idk meh, u know?

The very last rehook is so useless... Replace it with HT, so you can keep running right

Nothing is random in ddnet except for teleport destinations

Though there are things that appear random. E.g. moving a part from one location in a map to another can break it (float precision), some tick accurate jumps appear random but that's only because packets can drop and it's hard to time a jump to 1/50th of a second to begin with :P

Agree, in the part of Bomb it just depends how u release the hook and when u start to hold a, sometimes I failed too but because I did wrong movement

the one tile freeze example might feel random at specific speeds, since it depends on which intervals you are walking on whether you get slowed down 'early' in the block or 'later'
