So I was wondering, the last time I played Teeworlds, it was all racing game-modes, and everything else is very inactive. Why is that?

Because cooperative racing is fun for a long time and the community keeps making new maps

Well, I personally enjoy the more combat-focused game modes. It's a shame those aren't very popular anymore.

When I got into my first map, I was very confused when my character turned into this ninja-like thing and started lagging when it touched the "gray stuff". Eventually, I learned the "gray stuff" is the freeze, and it's supposed to do that. (edited)

Well i using specific soft to take a ss since it's more cozy, but if i ss in fullscreen mode it turns black xd

I have mine binded to Print Screen. So whereever I am in the OS, I can take a screenshot without having to worry what the button is for whatever program I'm using. (edited)

It's an odd mod. You have laser which freezes the enemies and then you need to throw the frozen enemies into spikes

Block also has many complex interactions. People backstabbing eachother, teaming up, fighting in packs. Aaand it stimulates the asshole part of your brain

Zombie mod was fun. Also wasn't there a mod where basically one person is infected or w/e and you have to hammer someone else to transfer it? Then when the time runs out the person infected is moved to spectators. After a couple rounds the last man standing wins. I remember lots of hooking and hammering lol. It was something like that. Also there was one kinda like zcatch but you never get "captured" you just turn the color of the person that shot you. By the end almost everyone is one of two colors until one Tee's color completely wins.

It was fun because at the end the "winner" gets broadcasted and all you have to do technically is shoot one person to potentially win the whole round

The recognition (winning a round of catch16) not just going to the best player each round was one of the reasons it was fun. Also, you could kinda pick favorite teams and team up or get shot by a certain color on purpose in order to prevent your least favorite player from winning lol.
